Data deletion
How to disconnect a Meta integration and request deletion of information held by Qadam.
Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Draft pending operational review
1. Stop future access
Open the connected account’s Meta settings and find the area for connected apps or business integrations. Select Qadam and remove or revoke its access. The exact settings vary between Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Business accounts. Where available, also disconnect the channel in Qadam’s business settings. Revoking access alone does not delete existing orders or customer records.
2. Request removal of stored data
Store customers: contact the store you messaged and ask it to delete the information associated with your contact number or account. Business account owners: send a request to Qadam’s verified privacy contact with the subject “Data deletion request”.
Include your account email, business name, connected channel, and the account or phone-number identifier needed to locate records. State whether you want integration data, customer records, or the entire account removed. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or full payment details.
3. Verification and handling
The receiving business or Qadam may ask for information needed to verify identity and authority over the records. After verification, we assess and process the request under applicable law and the store’s instructions. Requests concern information held by Qadam; Meta and other providers handle their own copies under their policies. No automated deletion callback or guaranteed response deadline is offered by this page.
4. Records that may remain
Some information may need to remain for accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or unresolved disputes. Backups may persist until their normal replacement cycle. Disconnecting an integration may prevent future messages from being processed. Where deletion is limited, the request response should explain the categories retained and the applicable reason.
